Watch24 Lynx Security System

At the heart of the Watch24 system is a Lynx Control unit, manufactured by Honeywell, and is exclusive to Watch24 Security Services in Australia.

The Lynx system is a wireless system, with a maximum capacity of 24 wireless and one hardwired zone. Wireless devices can include PIR movement sensors, door and window sensors, glass break detectors, portable emergency pendants and smoke detectors.

The system can be controlled via the built in keypad, remote controls or wireless keypads. The transmission range of the wireless devices can be extended by the use of wireless repeaters.

Other accessories include basic X10 home automation devices and a universal receiver to be wired into existing equipment to allow Watch24 Lynx remotes to operate other equipment, e.g automatic garage door openers or auto gates.

By enabling the telephone control function of the Watch24 Lynx system, you can also phone in and check whether the status of your alarm system. This is great feature especially if you are a long way from home.

Full Voice Response
Voice announcements to indicate system status and zone descriptions. You can also customise up to 4 zones with your own zone description and language.

Message Centre
You can record brief messages and reminders for other users.

Single Button Operation
You can arm the system with a single button, without having to enter a code. No need to provide codes to trades people or staff locking up at the close of business.

Wireless Keypads
Optional wireless keypads can be installed, giving you the flexibility to operate the system close to the entry point and minimising the need for long entry/exit delay times. Two types of wireless keypads are available – a basic keypad or the LCD display with voice feedback.

LCD Display
Easy to read LCD screen will display system status and show the nature and location of all occurrences. A “MESSAGE” displayed on screen indicates there is a new message waiting.

Built in Wireless Receiver
The built in wireless receiver supports a range of Honeywell wireless devices, including intruder detection devices, door sensors, glass break detectors, smoke detectors and portable panic or emergency pendants.

Built in Siren
Built in siren is designed create an unpleasant noise and drive intruders out of the protected premises.
